To The Friends Who Love Your Kids Like Their Own

Here’s to the friends who love your kids like their own.

Who let them run in the door with dirty shoes on and don’t bat an eye.

Who greet them with huge smiles and call them by nicknames.

Who feed them popsicles and cups of chocolate milk without any hesitation.

Who let them get out every single toy in the house and never complain about the mess.

Who ask them genuine questions and actually listen to the answers.

Who pull them aside to watch the butterflies by the window.

The ones who make you belly-laugh and ugly-cry all in the same visit.

The ones who let you see their not-so-perfect parts and graciously accept all of yours.

The ones who invite you into their circle with open arms and always make you feel like you belong.

Here’s to the friends who love your kids like their own.

You bless our hearts more than you know.
