Grow Through What You Go Through

Grow Through What You Go Through

My mother-in-law gave me this ring a few months back, and I’ve worn it every day since. But little did either of us know all the life that would happen in the following weeks, and how badly I would need this daily reminder.

God’s funny like that. He always works in the little details, even when we can’t see it yet.

This ring has helped me keep perspective when it didn’t come naturally. It’s helped me remember His faithfulness in the past. It’s helped me loosen my grip when I grasp for control.

And every time I look at it, I’m humbled by the God who’s faithfully writing my story. He’s perfectly planned out every little detail of my life with such great intention, and He doesn’t need me to be His editor – He just needs me to trust Him.

If you, too, find yourself doubting and questioning some of life’s curveballs, and wondering “why me?” take refuge in the fact that God knows your pain. He hears your cries. He sees your scars. And He has such meaningful purpose for everything.

Don’t give up. Don’t believe the lies. Don’t lose your faith.
Keep going.

The fire may hurt, but His Word promises that He’s using it to refine us. To strengthen us. To make our hearts look more like His.

We may have no say in how He shapes and molds us, but He always makes a masterpiece out of the mess.
You’re a diamond in the making, sweet friend. You’ll shine bright again soon. Just you wait and see.
